Now in its fourth year, this family-friendly festival celebrates Hood River Valley’s booming hard cider scene, giving seasoned and novice cider drinkers alike the chance to sample cider from the Northwest’s top cideries. More than 25 cideries will be participating, with more than 50 ciders on tap.
To accompany the ciders, festival-goers can dig into offerings from the area’s vibrant food scene, including Apple Valley BBQ, Leah’s Lunch, and Solstice Wood Fire Café. The daylong event also features a lineup of local music, from an old-time string band to honky-tonk country and rock, and a kids’ area, complete with a bouncy house – guaranteeing a great time for the whole family. Spring showers aren’t a problem, as the tasting takes place in a covered hall. And, just a friendly reminder, pets are not allowed at the event.

Woodbox Cider was started by the Thierfelder brothers and their mother, Mama Gibson. They're a family-owned and operated boutique cidery that uses locally sourced apples and produces delicious products here in Portland's very own Northeast quadrant. All of their ciders are partial wild ferments and bone dry. Unapologetically bone dry. So they're coming by to pour samples of four of their ciders: Heritage 8, Pippen, American Sidra Style, and Double Barrel Cider. We‘ll also be featuring a special Double Barrel Cider Cocktail during the event.
Come and join McMenamins and over ten other cider producers for the first annual Wassail Cider Fest at Cornelius Pass Roadhouse!
